News of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has been out for a few weeks, and the shoppers we serve have already been calling us to learn more about this "all-new" Jeep truck. True, it's not the first truck the Jeep brand has built, but it's been three decades since the original Gladiator has been on the market. Here's some takeaways from the new Gladiator.

Outdoor-Ready

Just like the Jeep Wrangler (which the Gladiator is essentially based off of), the Gladiator is ready to take on the outdoors. It's going to be the most capable midsize truck on the market, and you'll be able to take it through water, over rocks, and onto bumpier roads than you thought possible. No matter which Gladiator you buy or lease you'll get front and rear axles by Dana®44 and a 4x4 system that has high and low range. On the famed Rubicon trim there's shocks by FOX and large all-terrain tires. We're also impressed by the industry-exclusive TrailCam® that helps you better avoid obstacles that can end a day.

Just like the Wrangler, you can take off the doors, roof, and windows of the Gladiator and enjoy a nice breeze when it gets hot during the Texas summers.

Trucking

Depending on the engine you choose, the Gladiator will be able to tow up to 7,650 pounds! That's enough performance to bring along some fun toys for the afternoon. If you want to put stuff in the five-foot bed, you'll get excellent payload ratings of 1,600 pounds, and like any truck, there are plenty of ways you can customize the bed for your needs.

Technology

Let's say you want a Gladiator because of its looks but don’t want to get too extreme? The good news is that there are plenty of in-cabin features for you to enjoy. Examples include an updated Uconnect®4C infotainment system that has an 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, and the other industry-exclusive feature, which is a removable Bluetooth wireless speaker! Now you're really going to love driving around the Shreveport, Longview, and Tyler areas we serve.
