The results of the AutoPacific 2013 Ideal Vehicle Awards are in and RAM trucks have earned some deserved recognition. It seems that owners of the rugged vehicles really love their rides. Patterson Chrysler Dodge RAM Jeep is not surprised that RAM was crowned the "Most Ideal Brand" by the AutoPacific survey.

If you are unfamiliar with the Ideal Vehicle Awards, it highlights cars, trucks and SUVs that are the best representation of the owners' original expectations at the time they purchased the vehicle. The awards are given based on surveys completed by actual owners. The awards help potential buyers make more educated purchasing decisions by understanding how their peers view their vehicles. Drivers have to spent at least 90 days behind the wheel to complete a survey.

Included in the survey is the opportunity for owners to note the changes they would make to their new vehicle if the possibility existed.

As mentioned in the Sacramento Bee, "The Ideal Vehicle Awards recognize vehicles where owners want the least amount of change across 15 key vehicle attributes including:  exterior styling, exterior size, passenger roominess, cargo space, driver's seat comfort, driver's seat visibility, info/entertainment technology, interior lighting, power and acceleration, ease of getting in and out, interior storage compartments, ride, handling, safety features and tires and wheels."1

Satisfied RAM owners would like to keep their pickups exactly as they are.
