If you drive out to the country, where farms can be found at every turn, it is likely that you will encounter at least one RAM truck. The pickups are built to conquer jobs big and small, and in farm towns, their hauling capabilities come in handy. What has also proven to be very beneficial recently is RAM's dedication to ensuring that those who cannot afford to put food on the table still eat nutritious meals.

Recently, RAM donated a truck to benefit farms involved with Forgotten Harvest. The organization, located close to the automaker's Detroit-based headquarters, aids food banks by donating volunteer-harvested vegetables and fruits. The healthy produce is delivered at no charge to area agencies. Forgotten Harvest plans to provide approximately 850,000 pounds of food this year.

When RAM found out that the worthy organization was lacking in materials and equipment, they stepped right in and made a contribution in the form of a 2013 RAM 3500 ST Crew Cab Heavy Duty 4x4. The vehicle will be utilized on the farm as a means of transport for both volunteers and fresh food.

In addition, Forgotten Harvest also was given donations of a field sprayer and tractor.
