The 2014 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show this year in Las Vegas housed some impressive Jeep models, including customs like the Jeep Cherokee Dakar, Maximum Performance Wrangler, and the Wrangler Mojo. But perhaps the most interesting Jeep brand presence was a rare 1973 CJ-5 Super Jeep model.

The Super Jeep model was created over 40 years ago as a response to the popular CJ5 Renegade model, which sported a (tight supply of) aluminum wheels. It was created without aluminum wheels in the likeness of the CJ5 Renegade; however, only a few hundred models were made.

Meet the restored, rare, and patriotic Super Jeep model in this video:

Other Jeep brand highlights: the Jeep Wrangler won 'Hottest 4x4-SUV" and was recognized as the most customized vehicle in its category. The Performance Portfolio created by the Mopar and Jeep brands includes over 300 parts for the Wrangler alone, including suspension components, skid plates, bumpers, lift kits, and other off-road and exterior add-ons.
