ram 1500

What do you use your truck for? Grabbing groceries? Stopping by the hardware store for some potting soil and river rocks? Maybe driving to the lake for a quiet morning out on the water? Well it’s time to reinvent the way you take advantage of your truck.

Say hello to the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX.

Hellcat Power

This monster is the most powerful street-legal half-ton pickup ever made. Featuring a supercharged 6.2L Hemi V8 engine, an unprecedented 702 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds, it’s everything you’ve ever wished you could have in a pickup. The good news? You can now turn your wildest truck fantasies into reality with the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX.

Seriously, the Hellcat powered punch this beast packs is doing its best to put the Ford Raptor to shame. The TRX boasts a twin-screw supercharger with a max speed of 14,600 rpm while Launch Control with Launch Assist allows instantaneous acceleration of up to 4,500 rpm at launch. The cast-iron engine block can withstand firing pressures of 1,595 psi, ensuring top-level efficiency when you’re pushing this off-roading marvel to the max.

Extreme Off-Roading Capabilities

For the $71,790 starting price, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX offers more than enough to make it worth the cost of admission.

For starters, the TRX is an off-roader's dream. With ample underbody plating, a flexible suspension, 11.8 inches of ground clearance, a Bilstein® Black Hawk® e2 shock system and eight drive modes (including Snow, Mud/Sand and Rock), this bad boy is built to dominate whatever terrain you throw at it. Even if you opt for a slightly more aquatic outing, the 32 inches of water fording capability have you covered.

Premium Features

Not only does the TRX give the Raptor a run for its money in the performance department, but it blows it away in terms of interior features.

The Level 1 equipment group comes with heated front seats and steering wheel, leather-trimmed bucket seats, Uconnect® 12.0” display with Navigation, and a luxury front door trim panel. Step it up to Level 2 for an additional $7,920, and the TRX comes with memory driver-seat and exterior mirrors, leather and suede flat-bottom steering wheel, remote-start system, surround-view camera, wireless charging pad, and more.

Other optional features include the futuristic heads-up display, can’t-miss advanced safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist, and a bevy of bed utility accessories.

What do you get when you put all of these features together into one adrenaline-pumping package? The best high-performance truck on the market. The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX is the competition the Ford Raptor has long been dreading, and the combination of luxury and power that’ll reset the standard for off-roading in style.

Dodge also made a Launch Edition of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX available upon its announcement earlier this year, and the 702 models sold out in only three hours. Despite the $90,265 price tag, the exclusive Anvil paint hue, customized exterior badging, beadlock-capable wheels and carbon-fiber package (on top of Level 2 features) were too tempting to pass on for those lucky enough to reach the front of the virtual line.

A release date for the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX hasn’t yet been announced, but production is set to begin sometime this month. Whenever these superpowered pickups do become available in showrooms across the country, expect them to sell like hotcakes.
